Two Busted on Meth Charges

PERRY CO.-Two southern Illinois men have been arrested on meth charges.

The arrests happened early Monday morning near Redwood and Elderberry Roads east of DuQuoin.

Police say Chris Knapp, 31, of Marion and Jonathan Pike, 34, of Thompsonville had meth making materials in their car.

Each man is charged with unlawful participation in methamphetamine production, unlawful possession of anhydrous ammonia (2 counts), unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials and unlawful disposal of methamphetamine manufacturing waste.
