Jackson Co Authorities Collar Robbery Suspect

JACKSON COUNTY- A Carbondale man has been arrested for two armed robberies near campus.

Police say they arrested 20-year old Kristopher Cash without incident last week.

He's accused of two armed robberies.

One near South Thompson and West College Street and another at a business on South Illinois Avenue.

Police say he used a handgun in both robberies.

Police are looking into whether those robberies are connected to another armed robbery on campus.
