After dropping their season opener at Marshall and a bye week...the Football Salukis took care of business in their home opener, beating up Southwest Baptist 59-7. SIU rolled up 699 total yards, the second most in school history. Senior running back Deji Karim finished with 210 yards on 10 rushes, a school record 21 yards per carry.
Carmi White County beats Vienna in high school football.
