Hickenlooper ends presidential campaign

(CNN) – The 2020 Democratic field is getting smaller.

John Hickenlooper officially ended his presidential bid on Thursday. He made the announcement in a video posted on his Twitter account.

The former Colorado governor struggled to break out of the crowded field.

He has not yet decided whether he will run for the Senate. If he does, he would be challenging Senator Cory Gardner.
