ANNA (WSIL) — It was a special night in Anna — the Anna-Jonesboro Wildcats held their annual white-out game to raise support for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
The events leading up to the game raised $25,000 for MDA and Hadley’s Haven, an all-inclusive playground the organization is planning to build in Anna City Park.
The Wildcats played host to Massac County.
An interception by AJ’s Nate Baggott in the 1st quarter led to a Wildcats touchdown and a 6-0 lead.
Massac County answered in the 2nd quarter with David Thompson driving it in for the touchdown.
The Wildcats would lead 14-7 at the half and hold on to win 34-29.
