Bed bugs found at more southern Illinois schools

UPDATE: 6:00 p.m. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2019

MARION (WSIL) — Officials with the Marion Unit 2 School District issued a release this afternoon saying a single bed bug was spotted in the West Gymnasium at the Marion Junior High school.

They say professionals have been notified and will be performing inspections and treatment.

HARRISBURG (WSIL) — Students at two Harrisburg schools went home early Tuesday after bed bugs were found.

According to a Facebook post by the unit office bed bugs turned up at West Side School and the Harrisburg High School.

All Harrisburg schools will now be inspected.
