SALINE COUNTY (WSIL) --- Four people are safe after their truck became stranded in flood waters near Harrisburg Saturday evening.
It happened just before 7:45 p.m. on Ingram Road southeast of Harrisburg, according to the city's fire chief, John Gunning. Four juveniles in a truck drove off in a flooded low-lying area and became trapped in the high water.
Fire fighters responded to the scene and used a rescue boat to reach the four standing on top of the truck, according to a post on the Fire Department's Facebook page.
According to Chief Gunning, they were checked by medics and released to their parents.
