MARION (WSIL) -- Our journey continues to help find some of our furry friends their "Furever Homes."

Meet Hope, Maximus, and Rascal - three kittens looking for their "Furever Families."

"All of them were strays. So this little one here, and Rascal who's hiding, they were both born to outside moms that we assisted with getting them fixed, and then we had people who worked on getting them friendly. And this little guy was the same way he was part of a litter that showed up at someone's doorstep," explains Becca Baird, president of Finding Forever Animal Rescue.

While they all came from similar situations, Baird says they all have very different personalities.

Maximus is four months old and full of energy. "He's more of a talker out of all of them. I'd say he would chirp and talk to you all day if you'd let him, and then he wants to run around, play and then when he crashes, he wants love", says Baird.

Hope is also in the kitten stage, between 6 and 7 months old. "She's not as much of a talker, but she loves to cuddle."

However, if you're looking for a couch buddy, Rascal may be the way to go. "Rascal is a shy guy. He waits patiently in his bed to get love. He's a little more relaxed, but he's a year old so it makes since," says Baird.

Baird says that when it comes to adopting a new pet, the most important thing is to make sure they fit your lifestyle.

"If you have a busy household, kids, dogs, you want a busy cat that can keep up with those kinds of things, and where if you're looking to just kind of have a chill buddy on the couch, then going with that personality is more important."

One of the benefits to having a cat is that they require very little training.

Baird elaborates, "A lot of people, if they're first time pet owners and not really sure what they want, they're looking for something a little bit easier. Or they work long hours. Adopting two kittens or two cats together if you work long hours, but you want to come home and have a companion, they'll entertain each other during the day while you're gone, you'll come home, and they'll appreciate any love they can get."

You can meet all three kittens at Black Diamond RV 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday for the Tailgate Adoption Bowl. For more information on the kittens and the event, click here.
