Cold air moving in will push rain away

CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Buckle up and hold on, there are some big changes coming in our weather in a short time.

A cold blast will arrive early Thursday morning, dropping temperatures into the teens by Friday morning.

Snow flurries are expected Thursday, and scattered slick spots could appear. Significant accumulation is not expected.

Sunny skies will make for a pretty but chilly day Friday.

Warm air will roar back in during the weekend and could have us in the 50s by Sunday afternoon.

I will have the latest forecast on News 3 this evening.
