ELDORADO (WSIL) -- The Egyptian Health Department has received one of eight U.S. Integrated Care for Kids (InCK) grants.
The seven-year project, worth up to $16 million, aims to reduce costs and improve quality of care for children covered by Medicaid.
The agency says they will focus on behavioral health and cover an estimated 7,900 children in Gallatin, Hamilton, Saline, Wayne, and White counties.
Egyptian Health CEO Angie Harmon says the agency plans to expand coverage by hiring an estimated 22 new employees.
