Cape Girardeau County health officials announce 2 new cases of COVID-19

CAPE GIRARDEAU CO. (WSIL) -- Officials with the Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center have announced two new positive cases of COVID-19.

The news comes just one day after the county's first presumptive positive case was announced.

Of the three cases, health officials say one is a 60-year-old man and one is a man in his 40s. Each is said to be in isolation.

Information about the third case was not provided.

The Cape Girardeau County Public Health Center is investigating and tracing who may have had close contact with any of the individuals.

There are 356 cases of COVID-19 in Missouri. Eight people have died.
