CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- We've asked our local athletes to send video of your training during the stay home order and you've delivered. Here's some videos to take us into the weekend.

Friday night, we started with a video from TRICO softball.

They chose the song Centerfield and you know the famous lyric "put me in coach Im ready to play,"wish we all could play.

Love these videos, they keep us hopeful and keep us smiling.

In our second video, Crab Orchard's Tony Lakotich is off and running.

He's a 3200 meter competitor, his pace looks strong.

Must be the music that has hm running fast.

Whats he listening to you ask?

Till I Collapse by Eminem

We appreciate the videos. Tough times but again our athletes doing their thing brings joy to our communitites.

Over in Nashville Gavin Baldwin is swinging for the fences.

Those are RBI swings.

I said it yesterday I'll say it again today, there's not a better sound in the spring time than the bat connecting with the baseball or softball.

And we ended things with a family game of basketball.

The benefits of a large family? There's enough of you in quarantine to put together a pick up game of basketball in the driveway.

Massac County represented with the Castleman family.

Farrah all conference/All-South basketball player teamed up with her dad Sam and took on brother Drew an All-South soccer player and mom Sally.

Great job. Who's next? Keep the videos coming.
