(WSIL) -- There is a lot of cold in the Storm Track 3 forecast.
Lows in the 30s will be common for the next week or so.
Ample sunshine will warm things a little in the afternoon, but Friday will stay much cooler than normal.
A slight warm-up is expected Sunday, but it will bring a big chance of rain for Easter.
Rainfall projections are in the 1" range across the area with most expected Sunday during the daylight hours, but showers will likely linger into the evening.
Another shot of cold air will follow the rain, and it already looks like most of next week will be colder than normal.
I will have the latest forecast on News 3 this evening.
