WILLIAMSON CO. (WSIL) -- More than 300 families attended a mobile market in Williamson County Thursday.
The drive-thru market was set up at Whiteash Free Will Baptist Church.
The number of attendees was so great, organizers had to turn people away, to maintain what little food they had for families already in attendance.
"It's a crisis situation. People are worried about shortages. Lots of people are laid off. So, you know, every little bit helps. We're giving away meat today, eggs, milk, potatoes, watermelon, cereal, oranges, little staples that go a long way," explained Pastor Andy Lee.
If you missed Thursday's mobile market, there will be another one in Williamson County on Saturday behind the United Methodist Church in Energy.
