CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- A mostly warm and pleasant Saturday, brings passing chances for rainfall.
Some early showers will move through this morning, bringing a chance of rain to mostly the southern half of our viewing area. A pop up shower can't be ruled out through midday.
A second chance of rain in the form of potentially strong thunderstorms may present itself later this afternoon and evening with the best chances in the southeast Missouri boot heel region, and parts of western Kentucky. A chance for thunderstorms returns Sunday afternoon.
Overall, today will be another warm and humid day, with seasonal highs in the low 80s.
