CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- It was a warm muggy day and some of us even saw some storms. The summer like pattern is expected to stick around into Memorial Day.
Scattered storms will continue to be a possibility for the remainder of the afternoon. Brief pockets of heavy rain and lightening will be the main threats. However, there will still be plenty of time to get outdoors.
Memorial Day will hold more of the same. High temperatures will climb back into the mid to upper 80s with muggy conditions making it a great day to enjoy the pool or lake.
Similar to today, scattered storms will be a possibility during the afternoon. If you have outdoor plans, keep and eye on the radar.
Storms chances will stick around through much of the forecast period. Meteorologist Jacie Brianne will have the latest tonight on News 3.
