CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- A few storms are already dotting the landscape Thursday morning, primarily in Southwest Illinois and Southeast Missouri. Severe storms are not anticipated, but storms are producing very heavy rain and a lot of lightning.
Warm, humid, and afternoon scattered storms, it's been the theme all week and will continue Thursday. Storms once again may produce brief period of heavy rain and frequent lightning. Outside the rain, temperatures will peak around 80º with high humidity.
