WILLIAMSON CO. (WSIL) -- A busy Williamson County intersection will be closed for two months to be converted into a roundabout.
Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, June 1, the intersection of Cambria Road and Herrin Road in Blairsville will be closed to through traffic.
The closure is expected to be in place until August 1 as crews construct the roundabout.
The Illinois Department of Transportation says local traffic will still have access to all business and residential entrances during the closure.
A marked detour will be in place.
