WILLIAMSON CO. (WSIL) -- The Williamson County Highway Department is warning drivers of an upcoming road closure.
The department says Thompsonville Road just south of the Franklin-Williamson County line will be closed beginning on or near June 15.
The closure is expected to last 60-90 days.
The Williamson County Highway Department says the closure is due to "excavation to expose high pressure gas lines during longwall mining."
More information is expected to be released closer to the closure.
Drivers are asked to find alternate routes.
