(WSIL) -- Storms around this afternoon should begin to dissipate by late evening.
The chance of storms is smaller late Tuesday night but will increase again Wednesday midday into the afternoon.
The overall risk of severe weather remains small, but locally heavy rains could lead to more flash flooding. Some locations have seen more than 3" of rain already, and another 1-2" is possible.
High humidity will be with us through the holiday weekend, but the chance of storms should be smaller by Friday.
I will have the latest look at radar and a forecast update on News 3 this evening.
