MARION (WSIL) -- One Marion doctor says parents should start scheduling physical exams for their children.
Although parents may be concerned about sending students back to school, Heartland Regional family physician, Dr. Graham, says there's plenty of time to get check-ups and vaccinations.
They're still a requirement for the upcoming school year, especially if they're involved in school sports.
"Even if they're going to be in P.E. and doing just general physical activity in school, we want to make sure everything's okay," he said.
Heartland Regional will also conduct sports physicals at Johnston City High School on July 14th and Goreville High School on July 16th.
Dates for Marion High School and Crab Orchard High School are still being scheduled.
