CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- A Flash Flood WATCH is in effect for Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky, and much of Southeast Missouri until Wednesday morning.
A loud morning for many in Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri as showers and storms move through with heavy rain and a lot of lightning.
Storms are expected off and on for much of the day Tuesday. The threat for severe storms is low, but the risk for flash flooding is high. Some isolated rainfall totals may of 2-4" are possible over the next 24 hours.
