Fewer storms but more humidity

(WSIL) -- Wednesday night should bring a break from storms for most of us. There is a small chance of storms Thursday especially in southeast MO. Most of us should see dry skies through the holiday weekend with only a tiny chance of storms Friday though Sunday.

Humidity levels will remain quite high for at least the next week. Puddles from recent rains will only feed the very humid conditions. Afternoon temperatures near 90 will push afternoon heat index values near 100 degrees.

I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 this evening.
