St. Louis requiring face masks in public

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (WSIL) -- Starting at 7 a.m. Friday morning, face masks are required in St. Louis and St. Louis County out in public.

Face coverings are required for everyone 9 years old and up when inside a business or other indoor public setting, and outside when six feet of social distancing is not possible.

The requirement comes as Missouri has seen an uptick in coronavirus cases, mainly in the state's larger metropolitan areas like St. Louis and Kansas City.
