Peoria man arrested in Paducah after high speed chase

PADUCAH, Ky (WSIL) -- McCracken County Sheriff's duputies arrested a man early Monday morning that led authorities on a chase.

Police received a call from a female stating she was being held against her will and assaulted in a vehicle just before 4 a.m. Monday, July 13. Using a description, Sheriff's deputies were able to locate the car driving on Lone Oak Road.

The driver, Reginald Taylor, 33 of Peoria, Illinois, led police on a chase. The vehicle was stopped near Blandville Road and Childress Road with the female inside along with two other passengers.

An investigation revealed the car had been reported stolen in Atlanta, Georgia. A search of the vehicle revealed drugs and other paraphernalia.

Taylor was arrested on multiple charges including unlawful imprisonment, wanton endangerment, and receiving stolen property. He was booked in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
