Cardinals-Brewers game postponed due to COVID-19

The MLB says Friday's game between the Cardinals and Brewers has been rescheduled as part of a "traditional doubleheader" on Sunday.

Saturday's game between the two clubs is still currently scheduled for 6:10 p.m.

According to the MLB, there were two positive cases of COVID-19 in the Cardinals' organization.

ST. LOUIS (WSIL) -- The St. Louis Cardinals game against the Milwaukee Brewers has been postponed after sources say multiple Cardinals tested positive for the coronavirus.

The game was originally set for Friday afternoon in Milwaukee.

The postponement was first reported by Jon Heyman with the MLB Network and then by ESPN.

The Belleville News-Democrat reports the Cardinals team is isolated at a Milwaukee hotel.

Two other games scheduled for Friday - Washington Nationals at Miami Marlins and Philadelphia Phillies at Toronto Blue Jays - had already been postponed due to positive coronavirus tests.
