WSIL -- Another very hazy day as the smoke caught high overhead from Western wildfires will be near its peak. While not many clouds will be around today, there will be a white appearance to the sky due to the smoke.
These small aerosol particles are trapped very high in the atmosphere, so air quality problems are not expected.
Hurricane Sally will likely move onshore along the Gulf Coast through Wednesday. The majority of the rain will stay well south of our region, but a couple showers may move into the Missouri Bootheel and northwest Tenneseee.
