CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- There are animals across the region in need of a home to call their own. In this edition of Pets of the Week, we are featuring two cats and three dogs who are up for adoption.
A female dog was picked up as a stray and is now ready for a new home. You can contact Franklin County Animal Control in Benton to learn more information about her and how you can adopt her.
Paulie is a laid back good-natured cat that will bring joy to a family. This fellow is up for adoption at the City of Salem Animal Control in Kell.
Azalea is the longest resident at the Humane Society of Southern Illinois.
She is a one-and-a-half-year-old Domestic Shorthair who can be a bit cranky with other cats. She prefers to have her own space without other cats. Azalea loves to snuggle, eat yummy treats, and give cute little love bites. For more about her, contact the shelter in Murphysboro.
Star and Lilly are six-year-old female Hound Lab mixes and have been together their entire lives, so they are a bonded pair. They need a country home, are good with other dogs, and don’t bother cats. The adoption fee has been sponsored, as long as they go together. You can call the Wayne County Humane Society in Fairfield or stop by in person.
