CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Some of us picked up a few showers this morning and we have more rain heading our way.
An approaching cold front will ramp up the chance for rain this evening and into Monday. Rain is already moving through Missouri and will continue to spread across southern Illinois and into western Kentucky.
It's looking like a soggy Monday morning for early risers. You may want to have the rain gear before heading out the door. Off and on showers will stick around through much of the day Monday along with chilly temperatures. Highs temperatures will be much cooler topping out in the upper 50s.
Meteorologist Jacie Brianne will break down timing and rainfall amounts tonight on News 3.
