Williamson County surpasses 1,700 cases of COVID-19

(WSIL) -- Williamson county surpasses 1,700 total cases of COVID-19 Sunday with Franklin, Jackson, Saline and White counties also reporting additional residents with the virus.

Franklin County:

  • Females: Three teenagers, one in their 20’s, three in their 30’s, two in their 40’s, five in their 50’s, three in their 60’s, and two in their 70’s.
  • Males: One child under 10, one in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, two in their 50’s, and one in their 70’s.

To date, there have been a total of 841 laboratory confirmed positives in Franklin county of COVID-19, including seven deaths. Of these positive cases, 445 have recovered.

Jackson County:

  • Females: One teen, one in 30s, one in 40s, one in 60s, and one in 80s.
  • Males: One teen, four in 20s, two in 50s, and one in 60s.

The health department is currently monitoring 103 active cases. The county has had a total of 1,430 confirmed cases to date, including 25 related deaths. So far, 1,302 individuals released from isolation, including five Sunday.

Saline County:

  • Females: One in her 20's, one in her 30's and two in their 50's.
  • Males: One in his 30's and one in his 50's.

To date, Saline County has had a total of 518 lab confirmed positives, including nine deaths.

White County:

  • Females: One in her 20's and one in her 70's.
  • Males: One in his 40's, one in his 60's and one in his 70's.

White County has had a total of 249 lab-confirmed positives, including one death.

Williamson County:

  • Females: One toddler, one tween, one teenager, one in their 20’s, one in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, four in their 50’s, four in their 60’s, one in their 70’s, and one in their 90’s.
  • Males: Five in their 30’s, one in their 40’s, one in their 50’s, two in their 60’s, and two in their 70’s.

To date, there have been a total of 1,717 laboratory confirmed positives in Williamson county, including 58 deaths. Of these positive cases,
1,061 have recovered in Williamson county.

Illinois Department of Public Health:

The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) reported 4,245 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Illinois Sunday, including 22 additional deaths.

Currently, IDPH is reporting a total of 344,048 cases, including 9,214 deaths, in 102 counties in Illinois.
