HAYTI, MO (WSIL) -- Hayti improved to 8-0 on the season with a 58-6 win over Caruthersville. The Indians continue to show they are a legit contender for a state football title.
The Hayti offensive line got a great push all night and created big holes for the Indians skill players. Quarterback Trayvon Thomas called his own number in the second quarter and ran through a big hole from about ten yards out to make it 22-0.
Quintral Clay is fast and shifty in the open field. Caruthersville had a tough time bringing him down. In the second quarter Clay scampered for a 60 yard touchdown to make it 28-0 and a bit later in the first half Clay found the endzone again with a short 6 yard score.
Hayti has a lot of go to players on offense, including Tykliek Moore who add a nifty touchdown that included a spin move. Hayti led 44-0 at the half before going on to win 58-6.
