Requirements:
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, and lift comfortably throughout the day
• General labor experience in a farm environment
• Recent, relevant work experience
• GED or higher
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to work the hours required by the assigned department

University of Illinois Extension is seeking to fill two open community worker positions in Jackson and Williamson County to support the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Education Program (SNAP-Ed). The position will work with eligible families to provide basic nutrition, food safety, physical activity, and food budgeting education for low-income individuals.
