(WSIL) -- Cooler and somewhat dreary weather kick off the weekend.
Saturday is starting off MUCH cooler than Friday. Temperatures are down more than 20 degrees from where they were Friday morning. This cooler weather is going to be the trend this weekend with temperatures struggling to climb out of the mid 50s.
Clouds are another constant for many of us this weekend as well. While some in our northwestern most counties will see peaks of sunshine on Saturday, the majority should expect a cloudy weekend. Outside of a few showers Saturday afternoon, the gray skies will likely be accompanied by dry weather.
There is a chance for more rainfall in the near term. I'll be tracking that on News 3 this morning.
