(WSIL) -- In this edition of Pets of the Week, we've got a variety of adorable new pets up for adoption throughout southern Illinois.
Lets start with Sissy. She is an an 8 year-old-gal with a bit of a sad history, but a hopeful future. She was found in a vacant home after her former owners decided to leave her there alone with 6 puppies! She's a boxer mix that loves other dogs. You can find her at the Perry County Humane Society.
Juniper is an adventurous cat who is very active and affectionate. She's ready to be your next best friend. Her adoption fee is $125 and can be found at the Humane Society of Southern Illinois.
Oreo is still a baby and is being bottle fed. For a cat that's still very young, she's very comfortable around humans. All she needs is a family to be a part of. She's at the City of Salem Animal Control.
Last up for adoption is Granite. She's a 2-year-old kitty, who unfortunately hasn't had an easy life. Granite was seen being thrown out of a moving car before being brought to the shelter. Hopefully, you can be the lucky family changing her life for the better. She's up for adoption at the Humane Society of Southern Illinois.
