WILLIAMSON CO. (WSIL) -- A Mt. Vernon woman is facing several charges after crashing the car she was driving in rural Williamson county.
According to Illinois State Police, the incident happened on Saturday, November 25 around 5:25 a.m.
Troopers say Holly Stewart was driving south on Illinois 148 near Grassy Road in Williamson County when she went off the road to the right.
Then, the 2006 Ford Taurus Stewart was driving overturned and she was ejected from the car.
An ambulance took the 35 year old to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Stewarts is being charged with driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to wear a seatbelt.
