CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Big changes begin to move in with next weather system.
It was cloudy and cool across the region today but major changes are expected tonight and tomorrow.
Our next front will move in tonight bringing back the chance for showers and a significant cool down.
Colder air behind the front will cause temperatures to drop quickly and will lead to the first chance for snow this season.
No accumulation is expected but flurries and light snow will begin to mix in with the rain overnight and tomorrow morning.
The biggest change will be the windy and cold conditions in store for Monday.
High's are expected to top out in the mid 30s with gusty winds out of the northwest leading to wind chill values in the 20s.
Be sure to bundle up. Meteorologist Jacie Brianne will let you know how long the cold and blustery conditions are expected to stick around tonight on News 3.
