CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Six animals are in this edition of Pets of the week. There are four cats and two dogs up for adoption at shelters across the region.

Rusty is about five-years-old and was recently taken back to the shelter after being adopted about a-year-ago. He is friendly, declawed on his front paws, and weighs between 10 and 12 pounds. He is a beautiful orange Tabby who is looking for a snuggle buddy. His adoption fee at PAWS Place Adoption Center in Anna is $75.

Valentino is a 2-year-old male Domestic Shorthair. He is neutered and good with cats, dogs, and all kinds. Valentino is also a social butterfly who loves attention, playing, and snuggles. He also gives the sweetest nudges when he asks for attention. Valentino would fit easily into a household. For more information about Valentino, he's also at the Humane Society of Southern Illinois.

Mulan is a grey Domestic Shorthair up for adoption at Union County Animal Control in Cobden.

Jefferson County Animal Control has featured a female Rottweiler who is super sweet and seems to love people. She went into the shelter a male Rottweiler, and she has not tested the best with other dogs. Her adoption fee at Jefferson County Animal Control is $165.00, which covers her spay, microchip, and rabies vaccine.

Zero is a sweet five-year-old male cat who will tap you with his paw to get your attention. He has a flea allergy, so he would need flea meds to help grow his hair back. Zero is also good with kids. He's up for adoption at the Wayne County Humane Society in Fairfield.

Rolo is a handsome young Pit who arrived at the Franklin County Animal Control in a harness but no ID. He is smart and knows several commands. He is up for adoption at the shelter in Benton.
