MAYFIELD, Ky (WSIL) -- One person has died after a plane crashed in Mayfield, Kentucky.

Graves County Coroner Brad Jones confirmed that one person is dead after a plane crash Monday evening.

It happened in a small field next to the Mayfield/Graves County Airport.

The victim's identity is being withheld at this time, pending family notification.
