(WSIL) -- We are through the first week of April with no rain in the gauge. Some needed rain will fall Wednesday but will come with thunderstorms. There is a small chance of strong gusty winds and isolated heavy rain. The overall risk of severe weather is small locally.
Cooler air wrapping in Thursday could bring some sprinkles or drizzle. Temperatures will actually only fall back to seasonal levels with more warm conditions expected Friday through the weekend. I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
