CARTERVILLE (WSIL) -- Say it ain't snow! It was a beautiful start to the week but a cool down and snow are on the way.
Soak up the sunshine and warm temperatures this afternoon and evening because our next system will bring BIG changes. Mostly clear skies will stick around overnight with low temperatures dipping into the low 40s and upper 30s.
Tuesday is when things get interesting. Our next front will move through drastically dropping temperatures and will bring not just showers but snow to the region.
Along with the snow a hard freeze could lead to some crop and flower damage.
Meteorologist Jacie Brianne will be tracking the cold spell tonight on News 3.
