(WSIL) -- Strong storms are possible early Tuesday as a cold front moves through. Heavy rain is possible behind the front in scattered showers during the day.
Strongest storms early Tuesday will likely be in our southern regions. Large hail and strong straight line gusts are the main threats. Brief tornado activity is possible but the overall risk of tornadoes across the region is small.
Cooler conditions will settle in for the rest of the week with lows in the 40s on the forecast board. I will have the latest look at radar and any forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
