JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. (WSIL) -- A semi truck rolled over on the tri-level on eastbound I-64 in Jefferson county Monday just before 5:00 p.m.
The Jefferson Fire Protection District #1 Facebook page says that crash happened at the split between I-57 north and I-64 east. The page says when crews arrived, officers found the semi on its side. Its lumber load had spilled on to I-57.
They say the semi truck driver suffered minor injuries.
As of 9:30 p.m., Jefferson county said their police chief was still on scene assisting with traffic.
