(WSIL) -- An overall unsettled pattern is locked in for the region for the next several days. The flow from the northwest will keep temperatures cool for the season. Every cold front moving through that flow will bring chances for rain and possible thunderstorms.
Thursday afternoon presents a chance for isolated storms. Gusty winds are expected and some hail possible. Overall risk of severe weather appears small. Friday is the next chance for outdoor time with increased chances of rain and thunder in the forecast for the weekend.
