WSIL --A much milder morning as winds have turned more southerly and clouds have moved in overnight.
A lot of dry time is expected Saturday during the day, but light rain chances will be increasing during the late afternoon and evening, especially in southern Illinois.
A warm front gradually lifting north will be the focal point for scattered showers and storms over the next few days.
What once looked like a washout Sunday, may end up with only a few hit and miss storms as this boundary lifts closer to the I-64 corridor and eventually even north of our area.
Monday will likely be one of the wettest days, but as the warm front lifts farther away, our region will move into the "warm sector" by midweek, tapering down rain chances and increasing temperatures and humidity.
