(WSIL) -- Temperatures will climb all week. The chance for showers will be with us for a couple more days in the transition from last week's cool snap. Thunderstorms are possible but the risk of organized severe weather is small. Focus of heavy rain has shifted to our north but isolated heavy rain showers can't be ruled out.
A dome of high pressure will build over the region reducing rain chances and lifting temperatures. We could see readings topping 85 by the weekend. I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
