Fewer storms, plenty of humidity

(WSIL) -- Storm activity will be more spotty on Friday with the biggest chances in western Kentucky during the afternoon. Fewer storm clouds will mean more sunshine leading to hot humid conditions. Heat index values will move into the upper 90s each afternoon through the weekend.

Very small chances of rain will be in the forecast for a few more days but it appears we are moving into a much drier pattern that will bring a considerable drop in humidity for much of next week. I will have the latest forecast updates on News 3 WSIL.
