WSIL -- Wow! It does NOT feel like June this morning! Temperatures have dipped back into the low to mid 50s overnight, but sunshine will begin to warm things very quickly.
Tuesday is the "Pick of the Week". Sunny skies, low humidity, and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s will make it a great day to eat lunch outside or go for walk.
As high pressure shifts east, winds will turn back to the south Wednesday afternoon, bringing temperatures back into the lower 80s.
Humidity will begin to move back in by Thursday afternoon and rain chances will not be far behind.
A stalled front is likely to set up across the Mid-Mississippi Valley late in the week. This will set the stage for a very active pattern into the weekend. While timing and the exact placement of the heaviest rain is still uncertain, those with outdoor weekend plans should stay updated with the forecast.
