FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ill (WSIL) -- Construction continues on the Franklin County Courthouse. Crews have completed the outside masonry and installed many of the windows. This week they are working on finishing the roof.
Once that is done, they can begin working on interior drywall and construction, as well as working on the glass facades.
County Board Member Randall Crocker, tells News 3 most residents he's spoken to are pleased with the progress.
"They see the building now, and the people I've talked to are just amazed at what's accomplished and really buying into the look of it and where it's at. So I think it's been great." said Crocker.
Construction crews say COVID has caused some delays. They say they're on track to finish before the end of the year.
