MT. VERNON, IL (WSIL) -- For this edition of WSIL Food Truck Feature, the owner of Adam's Food is Life stopped by News 3 This Morning to share with the team what is unique about his truck.
Adam Colón, the owner of Chef Adam's, Food is Life food truck, stopped by the News 3 studios with his children Alexis and Camron Colón.
Chef Adam said he has been cooking his entire working career, starting at age 15. Since then, he's also had several catering businesses, but this is his first food truck. He serves Latin Street cuisine since he is half Puerto Rican. The USMC veteran is from Aurora but has been in Mt. Vernon since 2014.
