Olympic watch party for Marion’s Darryl Sullivan Jr.

MARION (WSIL) -- Have you been watching the Olympics? Do you want to see a Marion High School graduate compete in Tokyo? Thursday night is your chance.

An Olympic watch party for Marion's Darryl Sullivan Jr. will take place at the Marion Cultural and Civic Center.

Sullivan is competing in the high jump competition as part of the Track and Field team. He is currently on the track and field team at the University of Tennessee. His honors include the 2021 Outdoor SEC Silver Medalist and 2021 All-SEC Second Team.

Food Trucks will begin serving at 5:30 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. The high jump competition coverage begins at 7 p.m.
